My truck broke down while I was in Montgomery, 3 hours away from home...along with my horse trailer and horse! I found Performance on Yelp with good reviews and gave them a call for a quote and details. Lawrence was very helpful on the phone and his quote was below the average online price I found for my repair, so I had my truck towed out to them sight unseen (which was a little scary to send my truck to an unknown mechanic) while my hubby came to rescue me and my horse. I was fearful for no reason. The repair was completed in one day and the final price came in under the estimate which was much appreciated! I had great communication with Lawrence throughout the day. When I picked up my truck the day after that the service was again excellent and I drove off happy with my experience. Story not over - I broke down just a few miles down the road with a completely unrelated problem. I limped back to the shop and they came out immediately to test drive and troubleshoot my new problem. Thankfully it was a quick fix and they took it right back, fixed my issue and sent me off with no additional charge for their time. I drove the three hours home with no problems after that. Brandon (mechanic) and Lawrence (at the front desk) made a couple of awful experiences much more bearable. I'm from out of town, but if they were close to me they would definitely be my new go-to shop. Great experience with these guys from start to finish.
